Spicy Christmas Punch
Difficulty: Easy
Serves: 5-10
INGREDIENTS:
1 litre pineapple juice
1 litre cranberry juice
1/2 cup lemon juice
1 litre carrot juice
1.5 litres of dry ginger ale (or a bottle of champagne/sparking wine)
cinnamon sticks
cloves
star anise
orange slices
(optional) 1 cup of either fresh cranberries or pomegranate arils

RECIPE DIRECTIONS:
- The night before, mix the cranberry and carrot juice and add a few cinnamon sticks, a small handful of cloves and sliced star anise, to give the mixture time for the spices to be thoroughly infused into the base juice.
- The next day, when your guests are just about to start arriving, pour your pre-mixed cranberry and carrot juice into a large punch bowl and add the lemon juice, pineapple juice and your choice of either dry ginger ale (for a non-alcoholic buzz), or sparking wine.
- For a fresh look and fragrance, add some more cinnamon sticks, star anise, orange slices and optionally fresh cranberries or pomegranate arils.
- Serve chilled, or on ice.
